Pharmacy owners across the North East are invited to meet the Community Pharmacy England team to discuss the issues that matter to you.

Chief Executive Janet Morrison and the team are heading to Newcastle on the evening of Wednesday 3rd July to talk directly to local pharmacy owners. Our regional roadshow will outline all of the work we are doing to ease pharmacy pressures and build a better future for the sector.

Part of a wider series of regional events, this is your chance to learn more about what we do, share your views and put questions to our team.

Sami Hanna, local independent pharmacy owner and our Regional Representative for the North East, will also speak about his own experiences and hopes for community pharmacy.

The event agenda will cover:

The ongoing critical pressures in community pharmacy;
Work on the Community Pharmacy Contractual Framework for 2024/25;
Our vision and strategy for the future of the sector;
How community pharmacy fits into the wider political and NHS climate;
How Community Pharmacy England operates; and
How you can input to and support our work.

We will meet with Chairs and Chief Officers from all five LPCs in the North East earlier in the day to learn about local context on national issues and hear any specific concerns.

If you are a pharmacy owner in the North East, please join us on 3rd July to have your say. For events in other regions, please see our events index.
