Community pharmacies are being asked for your help to measure the unfunded care the public receives from you.

We need pharmacy owners and your teams to take part in our Pharmacy Advice Audit between 3rd to 16th June 2024. The evidence gathered will be critical in supporting Community Pharmacy England’s ongoing case for more funding, particularly around the healthcare advisory work you undertake that’s not covered by Pharmacy First.

Ahead of the start of the audit participation period, we have released an animation and infographic about the audit. These outline the importance of this data gathering exercise – pointing to the value they have in influencing policymakers and the outcomes of previous audits – and demonstrating how just one day of your time can make a huge difference.

Pharmacy owners who use Sigma Pharmaceuticals should also be on the lookout for hard copy materials, including copies of the data entry template, being distributed with your medicine deliveries from Saturday (1st June).

We are hugely grateful to anyone who is able to take part in this audit, and will make good use of the results to build support for community pharmacies via patient groups and health charities, politicians and election candidates, and the national press.
