“While implementation of the 2025/26 CPCF continues at pace, our sights are also set on the future,” writes Community Pharmacy England Chief Executive Janet Morrison in a new blog.

Despite the funding uplift earlier this year, pharmacy businesses remain in a financially precarious position. Janet explains that the views of pharmacy owners and their experiences have helped to shape the Committee’s thinking as we prepare for the next round of negotiations on the Community Pharmacy Contractual Framework (CPCF) .

In her blog, Janet outlines the work that has been going on to build a strong and authoritative evidence base that “reflects both the realities of pharmacy operations and the value pharmacy teams are consistently delivering”. Janet also goes on to discuss how Community Pharmacy England has kept up the pace over the summer, continuing with economic work, supporting implementation of the new services, updating policy thinking, working to secure media coverage, and planning Parliamentary events for the autumn.
