The evaluation clearly demonstrates that this service was very well liked by participating women and pharmacy staff alike. By visiting the pharmacies, women learned many things that they did not know before, namely importance of taking folic acid, vitamin supplements, early booking for antenatal clinics, immunisations, free oral health checks, STD clinics. Pharmacists and staff increased their clinical knowledge in these areas.
