Pharmacy owners in Yorkshire and Humber are advised of an upcoming change to Primary Care Support England (PCSE) deliveries.
PCSE has written to ICBs in Yorkshire and Humber to announce a pilot where GPs and pharmacies will be selected to trial fortnightly scheduled collections/deliveries, starting in August 2025.
They have advised that the collection/delivery day will remain the same, and only the frequency will change.
The purpose of the pilot is to help PCSE be more efficient, and we do not anticipate the change being too impactful on pharmacy teams.
Pharmacy owners are encouraged to place supply orders with PCSE well in advance to help ensure a continuous stock and avoid any potential service disruptions.
