Pharmacy owners and their teams can now watch an on-demand recording of Community Pharmacy England’s webinar on the expansion of the Pharmacy Contraception Service.
Held last week, around 400 people tuned in to watch our ‘Pharmacy Contraception Service: getting going with the service’ webinar. The latest in our series of webinars* aimed at assisting the pharmacy sector in preparing for changes to pharmacy services, this event aimed to help those who have yet started to provide the Contraception Service to get ready to offer it to their patients.
The webinar focused on reviewing the service and its requirements, as well as exploring learning and development options for pharmacists who provide the service. Attendees also learned from the speakers’ experiences in piloting the service, received practical tips on delivering it effectively, and heard about the resources available to support pharmacy owners and their teams.
During the webinar, attendees had the opportunity to hear directly from the Community Pharmacy England Services Team, Kirsty Armstrong, NHS England’s National Pharmacy Integration Lead, Emma Anderson, a practising Clinical Services Pharmacist as well as a tutor at the Centre for Pharmacy Postgraduate Education (CPPE), and Priya Littler, Clinical Services Lead Pharmacist at Lalys Pharmacy. They also answered a large number of viewers’ questions live.
Anyone who was unable to attend the live event, or if you just want to re-watch, the recorded version is now available via the link below:
