Increasing pressures are put on A&E. It is crucial that patients and the public know what service is best to choose. Faster and better treatment can be obtained by choosing the right NHS service. This will help reduce the pressure on emergency services. Barnet Clinical Commissioning Group has published a leaflet containing information about health services available during the winter to help patients and public decide where to get the best treatment when feeling unwell. It is important to remember that services other than A&E are available, such as the local pharmacist, NHS 111 and the GP surgery.
